Dedication to our Mascot, Orion, the Alaskan Malamute
Orion was the light that allowed Sarah to live fully as possible at the moment with him during unexpected times of the global pandemic, Covid19.
During the less desirable circumstances of the global pandemic, many of us struggled and belittled ourselves in isolation from the world, lost loved ones, and struggled to adapt to the changing world. As human beings, we often encounter ambiguous situations that force a choice to rise beyond our limits or drown in doubt.
Feeling lost, Sarah sometimes would wait to see where Orion wanted to go so he could take her there. During that time, it was easy to look around and see the presence of a fragmented and disconnected culture. Orion was a bond between strangers.
Orion was a reminder that even the worst doesn't seem too bad if you have unconditional love in your life. Orion was brave and didn't waste time being afraid of tomorrow. We often forget to give ourselves the same level of grace that we provide to others.
There is beauty in the brutal honesty of accepting when something isn't right. The struggle in isolation can be complex and dangerous when you can identify those emotional behaviors within and find ways to justify efforts with logic; however, it is essential to have solid willpower to bounce back. You are not alone.
Orion has come to mean so much in his human companion's life.
He is the inspiration to see the world differently in hopeful ways. The Idea Pet is a calling to spread happiness and joy across the globe and as a way for people to connect through a tight bond.
When people think they have the best pet, they are never wrong. It makes absolute sense. Your pet is the center of your world.
